• Mary is an in-home and center based therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum. She has been a special education teacher and Autism/Behavior specialist for over 15 years

• Worked with students with Autism and students with severe behavioral challenges for over 15 years

• Most recently worked as an Autism and Behavior Therapist for Intermediate District 287

• Conducted Functional Behavior Assessments and developed Positive Behavior Support Plans

• Designed and implemented Positive Behavior Support Plans based off of the Prevent, Teach, Reinforce model.

• Implemented Restorative Practices and conducted Restorative Circles

• Presenter on “Behavior is Communication” at the 2017 Charting the C’s conference

• In-home and centered based Behavior Therapist Supervisor for young children with autism.

Personal Information:

Mary currently lives in Richfield with her husband and 4 daughters.  Her husband is a former special education teacher and they now co-own a small business in South Minneapolis that focuses on personal fitness and wellness.  They keep busy with their 4 young daughters who have just started to engage in sports and activities.  If you can’t find them at home, they are usually at a local park exploring and staying active outside!
