Summary of Professional Experiences:
MacKenzie has worked in a variety of settings ranging from small charter schools to large districts, including working with multiple setting three programs. She has worked as a school psychologist for eight years, from early childhood to transition programming support. She has training in due process, education assessments and evaluation, multi-tiered systems of support in academics, emotional, behavioral, and social skills, crisis prevention and intervention, direct student services, and trauma informed practices. She demonstrates a passion for working with families in understanding their child’s skills and needs, navigating the special education systems and advocating for the child.​

Personal Information:
MacKenzie was born in Wisconsin and currently resides in Saint Louis Park. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, participating in and attending sporting events such as football, tennis, swimming, pickleball and walking. She loves to cook, read, listen to music, and will often sit on her porch with a cup of tea. ​

MacKenzie can assist your school with completing special education evaluations and meeting the needs of your students and staff. Providing knowledge and direct support with evaluation tools, working collaboratively with school staff and parents to support student success. She can help with intervention design and implementation as well as accommodations and instructional design. She has professional interests in social-emotional curriculums and intervention, executive functioning skills, and inclusion practices.
