Summary of Professional Experiences: 

Lindsay has been teaching Early Childhood Special Education for over 20 years.  Her teaching career began in Texas where she taught for three years before moving back to Minnesota and teaching in the Farmington School District for 14 years.  After her son was born she decided on a new venture and now consults with a variety of charter schools. 

  • Most recently, working in Farmington ISD #192 as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in an inclusive preschool setting working with students, staff, and families in the 3-5 Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program
  • Served as Developmental Delay consultant in Elementary schools assisting special education teams with initial evaluations for kindergarten aged students

  • Member of the Young Learners Committee developing transition forms for preschool and ECSE students entering kindergarten

  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certified​

 

Personal Information:

Lindsay lives with her husband and son, Bowen.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also has a passion for decorating and organizing.

Lindsay has many years of experience working with children identified with special needs, their families, and collaborating with staff members in the area of early childhood special education. She is knowledgeable about the benefits of classroom organization, and can assist with effective ways to arrange a classroom to meet the needs of diverse learners.  She has years of experience working in early childhood special education and is willing to assist in anyway to help navigate the world of ECSE! She can help with the following.
