MTSS/RtI PROCESS REVIEW

Ensuring the learning needs of all students is critical, and having a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RtI) in place is essential for every school/district. With our educational services, our staff are able to support the review of your process, offer feedback for improvements, and evaluate the system currently in place. If your site is looking to strengthen the MTSS/RtI system, our TCEC staff can provide you with the tools and resources necessary.

INSTRUCTIONAL COACHING

Are you looking for instructional support for your staff? Our TCEC consultants offer instructional coaching support for licensed staff at your site – new teachers, seasoned teachers, and everything in between. Instructional coaching allows for the coach and teacher to set goals, observe lessons, provide feedback, and reflect on progress. Research shows that instructional coaching has a direct impact on students’ academic performance and an increase in teacher self-efficacy.

NON-EDUCATION
SPECIAL EDUCATION SETTINGS

(day camps, day care centers, etc)

At TCEC, we partner with organizations throughout Minnesota to provide support for staff who work with special education children in a non-school setting such as a day camp or daycare center. Our team provides training for staff on strategies and environmental accommodations based on the disability category, including students with ASD and sensory needs.

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING (SEL)

SEL is equally important to our students’ learning as their academics. Students have had several years of interrupted pandemic instruction, which requires explicit instruction to ensure all students’ social emotional learning is addressed within a general education and special education setting. TCEC is proud to offer our pilot SEL curriculum, The Power of Three, which addresses tier I (universal instruction), tier II (interventions) and tier III (special education support) of social emotional learning for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
