Summary of Professional Experiences:
Emily has been in the education field for 18 years. She began her career as a kindergarten teacher in Bloomington Public Schools, but has also taught second and fourth grades. She also has five years of experience as a Literacy Coach in Bloomington, specializing in supporting teachers in their structured literacy and phonics instruction. She currently works at Twin Cities Education Consultants as a K-12 Special Education Teacher, providing both direct instruction and due process support.

Personal Information:
Emily was born and raised in Minnesota and enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She frequently is cheering on her kids at the softball field, and trying to sneak in some snowboarding when there is time. Her favorite thing to do is travel to warm destinations, ideally near an ocean so she can scuba dive. Emily also enjoys going to concerts and spoiling her Golden Retriever, Kirby
