Summary of Professional Experiences: 

Deborah is passionate about providing high quality support to special education students grades K through 12. Over the years she has provided direct services to students with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental disabilities. Other experiences in charter school special education programs include due process coordination, serving as a member on the child find and evaluation teams, and collaborating with school staff to support special education students. It is her joy to partner with families and to advocate for students to utilize their strengths in order achieve their goals.

Personal Information:

Deborah was born and raised in Minnesota. After graduating from college in South Carolina, she spent a year teaching in Poland before returning to Minnesota to begin her career as a special education teacher. Deborah and her husband enjoy spending their spare time outside playing yard games, hiking, and kayaking.
