Summary of Professional Experiences:
Brittany has been a special education teacher for 12 years. She has had the privilege to work with students from kindergarten to age 21 with developmental cognitive disabilities in setting III classrooms. Brittany enjoys finding ways to get all students involved in lessons that are beneficial for their growth and individual education plans. She has worked collaboratively with speech language pathologists on ways to incorporate technology to involve students who are nonverbal in language/reading lessons. Brittany loves working with the students and families, forming a bond that creates trust, and focuses on the individual needs of their child. Brittany has had yearly CPI training to support her classroom.
​Personal Information:
Brittany grew up in the Twin Cities and now resides in the northwest suburbs. She and her husband enjoy making memories and spending time with their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and gardening.
