Summary of Professional Experiences: 

Brendean has been teaching for 14 years:

• Brendean joined the team at TCEC in the beginning of 2022 as an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher/Developmental Delay (DD) Consultant

• She began her career teaching 5th grade at an Autism school 

• Worked as an ECSE Teacher for Anoka-Hennepin School District

• Worked in a multicategorical classroom setting, supporting students significantly impacted by their disability. 

• Case managed and provided special education services in Early Childhood Special Education.

• Served as a Developmental Delay Consultant in elementary schools, assisting special education teams with current students on an IEP and initial evaluations for Kindergarten students. 

• Supporting students on an IEP in an inclusive preschool setting

• ​Provide coaching support to paraprofessionals in a multicategorical and inclusive preschool classroom setting.

​Personal Information:
Brendean was born and raised in Minnesota and currently lives with her husband, their son,daughter and their dog, Tank, in the north metro. Brendean loves spending time in the garden, shopping, doing remodeling projects and baking. As a family, they enjoy going to church, fishing, long walks, bike rides, and tending to their chickens-they love being outside!
